Biography
Lisa Steadman is an internationally acclaimed relationship journalist, relationship coach, best-selling author, sought-after speaker, and CEO of Woohoo, Inc. Lisa founded her company after leaving Corporate America in 2004, the same year she successfully survived her own “Big Breakup.” Using her unique and proven methods, Lisa now helps women break free of self-sabotaging relationship blocks, beliefs, and patterns to welcome healthy, happy, whole love into their lives.
In her new book, If He’s Not the One, Who Is?: What Went Wrong and What It Takes to Find Mr. Right, Lisa helps women identify the subtle and important differences between Mr. Next and Mr. Right, shows single women how they can get out of their own way and become attraction magnets, and how to take the fear, dread, and uncertainty out of dating, and bring back the fun! This book is the perfect sequel to her best-selling books, It’s A Breakup Not A Breakdown: Get Over the Big One, and Change Your Life – For Good and the follow-up workbook It’s a Breakup, Not a Breakdown Workbook: A 21-Day Action Plan to Plot Your Revenge, Spoil Yourself, and Find Out How Good Your Life Is Without Him.

“Life as we know it is in a constant state of reinvention, especially when you’re looking to let go of your post-breakup pain and step back into the world of dating. This can be a powerful, transformative, exciting time in a woman’s life! I’m thrilled to work with and remind women that their chance at love didn’t go out the door when their ex did, and that Mr. Right is still in their future if they want him to be.” says Lisa who left her corporate job writing and marketing for Mattel to write her first book and eventually launch her company Woohoo, Inc.
In addition to frequent speaking engagements and teleseminars, Lisa shares her valuable resources, tips, techniques, and strategies via articles, blog posts, video blogs, her ezine, social media, and her YouTube Channel LisaSteadmanTV.
Born in Montana, Lisa had an unconventional childhood, living in Australia, Saudi Arabia, and New Jersey before coming to Los Angeles in 1990 to attend USC’s Film School as one of 24 students in the undergraduate film writing program. A lifelong learner, Lisa now credits the school of life and relationships as her ongoing education. Lisa resides in Southern California with her husband, Luis, whom she married in September 2008.
