I admit I didn’t do the entire 30 Day Challenge. The first 5 months of 2010 were consumed with dating more than I’ve ever dated before, so by the time June (and the challenge) rolled around, I was ready for a BREAK, not a get-out-there challenge!
But I followed it every day and took notes on the things I really need to work on – eye contact, smiling at cuties everywhere, creative ways to talk to guys. Your tips run through my head a lot. The most helpful things for me, aside from those little tips were these two exercises: the one where you list 20 reasons you’re a good catch! and the one where you focus on what the relationship you’re seeking looks like.
I’d pretty much gone through the exercise of figuring out what characteristics were most important to me in a mate, but I had *never* focused on what was most important to me in a *relationship* So, at one point (using Arielle Ford’s ideas) I manifested the exact partner I was seeking! But the relationship was *not* what I was seeking! It was gut-wrenchingly painful to let go because *he* was everything I was seeking in a person, but the relationship was *not* Because I had not focused on what the relationship should be…I was just focused on what the person should be. Wow! It was a lightbulb moment for me.
Thanks so much for this.
